Composite fillings

Tooth-coloured fillings that blend in seamlessly.

About this service

A modern filling is a composite material light-cured layer by layer. The shade is matched to the natural tooth so the work is invisible. We no longer place classic amalgam (silver) fillings - they are no longer necessary. Modern composite is safer, more aesthetic and durable.

Step by step

How the procedure works

  1. Local anaesthesia (only when needed - shallow cavities often do not require it).
  2. Caries removal and cavity preparation.
  3. Bonding - adhesive protocol for tooth-composite bond.
  4. Layered composite placement and light-curing.
  5. Shaping, finishing and polishing.
  6. Bite check - immediately functional.

When it is needed

Materials & technology

Latest-generation composites (3M, Tokuyama) with nano-hybrid structure - high strength with natural optical effect.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a filling last?
A quality composite filling lasts 8-12+ years with good hygiene and no bruxism.
Does it hurt?
Shallow cavities usually need no anaesthesia. Deeper ones - local anaesthesia, completely painless.
Can I eat immediately?
Yes. Composite is cured instantly so the restoration is functional when you leave. Be careful until anaesthesia wears off.
