Implant-supported dentures

A stable denture that does not move - removable or fixed.

About this service

A removable denture that moves, falls out and hinders eating - is today solved with implants. As few as 2 or 4 implants per jaw give the denture secure anchorage. Options range from removable with attachments (overdenture) to fully fixed (All-on-4/6). Bone atrophy is prevented - implants preserve jaw height.

Step by step

How the procedure works

  1. CBCT scan and bone assessment.
  2. Plan - number of implants (2 for overdenture, 4-6 for fixed).
  3. Implant placement under local anaesthesia (or sedation).
  4. Osseointegration or immediate loading (case-dependent).
  5. Try-in and fine adjustments.
  6. Fabrication of final denture or fixed bridge.

When it is needed

Materials & technology

Locator attachments for overdenture (easy cleaning). All-on-4 with Multi-Unit abutments. Zirconia or composite for fixed work.

Frequently asked questions

Difference between overdenture and All-on-4?
An overdenture is removable for hygiene (on 2 implants). All-on-4 is a fixed bridge on 4 implants - does not come out.
How long does it last?
Implants for life with hygiene. The acrylic part of an overdenture is replaced every 5-7 years. Zirconia fixed work lasts 15+ years.
Can I eat normally?
With fixed work (All-on-4) - absolutely. With overdenture - significantly better than a classic denture.
